About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing individual to join our team as a Functional Skills Tutor in Rotherham. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning practices to raise student standards and progress.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Maths and/or English to students with SEMH needs.
  • Develop and implement Individual Educational Packages in collaboration with the SENCO to meet the needs of students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Provide comprehensive marking and written and verbal feedback to students to promote their progress and achievement.
  • Contribute to the aims and ethos of the college by promoting Inclusion best practice and working with students from Pre-Entry to Level 2.
  • Participate in weekly group engagement activities to build strong relationships with students and promote their well-being.
