About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Social Worker to join our team in Oxfordshire County Council. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to identify their strengths and desired outcomes, promoting their wellbeing and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Empower individuals to take control of their lives and make informed decisions about their care and support.
  • Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, hospital teams, and safeguarding teams to provide comprehensive support to individuals and their families.
  • Utilize a strengths-based approach to promote individuals' wellbeing and independence, ensuring their voice is heard through advocacy where necessary.

We are looking for a motivated and empathetic individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality social care services. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing person-centered support to individuals, families, and carers.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans that promote individuals' strengths and desired outcomes.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure seamless service delivery.
