About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as an Estimator. This position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity for career advancement within our reputable company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research and investigate costs of materials, transportation, labor, and equipment required for projects.
  • Secure quotes from suppliers and contractors within specified timeframes to ensure accurate estimations.
  • Assess risk levels associated with each project to inform decision-making processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of bids for new contracts and provide support to buyers in procurement activities.
  • Prepare and submit detailed quotations and cost breakdowns for proposed work.
  • Monitor project costs at different stages to ensure adherence to estimated budgets.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors to facilitate smooth project execution.
Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in an Estimating role within main contracting.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Prior experience in estimating or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
  • Willingness to undergo training and development to progress to a senior role.
