Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm with overtime opportunities at 1.5x the hourly rate

About the role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced electromechanical engineer to join our workshop team. As a Workshop Forklift Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of forklifts, ensuring they are safe and operational at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair forklifts to a high standard, ensuring they are safe and operational
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning and inspection
  • Carry out repairs and replacements as necessary, using a variety of tools and equipment
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality within the workshop

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in electromechanics or a related field
  • Experience working with forklifts and other industrial equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
