Occupational Therapist Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Mental Health Occupational Therapy Team in Anglesey. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering rehabilitation interventions and maintaining skills in a community setting.

The post holder will work under the clinical and operational management of an Occupational Therapy Team Lead and be part of a wider Occupational Therapy Adult Mental Health Team in West Wales. You will need knowledge of various rehabilitation strategies, alongside understanding diverse conditions and current issues affecting mental health and occupational therapy services.

This role involves providing comprehensive assessments, interventions, and rehabilitation programmes to aid recovery and maintain skills. You will also supervise and develop support workers and students within your team, as well as maintain links with external agencies to enhance and develop the trust's Occupational Therapy service.

• Deliver a flexible and comprehensive service to the community area you are responsible for.
• Supervise and develop support workers and students within your team.
• Maintain links with internal and external agencies.
• Utilize computer systems to update clinical information necessary for the job role, including data collection and audits.
• Maintain and update your own knowledge as required by the HCPC.
