Mccann Health London, an IPG Health Company, is seeking a skilled Medical Copywriter to join our team. As a Medical Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating high-quality promotional healthcare content for our clients, ensuring it adheres to relevant regulatory requirements.

About the Role

The successful candidate will take ownership of their assigned accounts, developing compelling promotional copy that meets client briefs and is scientifically accurate. They will also have an in-depth understanding of relevant therapy areas, media formats, and marketing techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement communication strategies, tactics, and content for assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scientific integrity and attention to detail in all outputs.
  • Oversee the work of junior writers, ensuring continuity of style and messaging.
  • Participate in new business pitches and contribute to the development of organic growth opportunities.
  • Present work to clients, fielding medical writing questions and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in medical copywriting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in medical copywriting, with a strong understanding of excellence in medical copywriting and the ability to mentor others.
  • Demonstrated experience creating communication strategies, tactics, and content.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently present work to clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex scientific and clinical information.
  • Proficient in using Veeva, FUSE, and Proof.
