Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective supervision of a team of Support Workers to ensure high-quality care and support is delivered to our customers.
- Lead with passion and enthusiasm to promote positive outcomes for disabled people, ensuring maximum independence and individual aspirations are achieved.
- Ensure our customers receive the very best care, personal support, and assistance with daily life tasks.
- Work collaboratively with the management team to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of our customers.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and support is delivered.
- Participate in on-call rota and be flexible to work within rostered hours.
Requirements:
- Ideally have a level of professional development and registration (NVQ/SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, L4 NVQ/SVQ) or willing to work towards a relevant qualification.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Have experience in supervising a team.
- Work flexibly and creatively with customers and their families.
- Be experienced in working within a care setting.
