Financial Controller Job Description

Our client, a leading international company, is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to oversee their financial operations in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting and financial processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory and tax regulations.
  • Lead statutory and tax compliance for key EMEA countries, including the UK and France.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial controls, ensuring data accuracy and minimizing business risk.
  • Provide leadership and development for your team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with other finance managers and occasionally stand in for the Finance Director.
Requirements:
  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification with several years of post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in managing finance teams, with a strong track record of leadership and development.
  • Experience working with external auditors and third parties, with a deep understanding of US GAAP and local GAAP reporting across Europe.
  • UK tax reporting and compliance expertise, with a strong understanding of international tax reporting.
  • Familiarity working with global remote teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
