About the Role


We are seeking an Activity Engagement Coordinator to join our team at Richmond Village St Joseph's Way in London Road. As a key member of our care home team, you will be responsible for creating a vibrant atmosphere for our residents, planning engaging activities, and providing support to ensure their well-being.



Job Description



  • Plan and deliver morning and afternoon activity sessions that cater to the diverse interests of our residents.
  • Produce and update an activity planner for the home, working within allocated budgets.
  • Organize birthday surprises and special events for our residents.
  • Liaise with external companies and performers to arrange days out and events at the home.
  • Provide one-to-one support to residents through reminiscing tools, puzzles, reading, or simply enjoying a cup of tea together.
  • Support the home's social media channels as needed.


Requirements


To succeed in this role, you should be a creative thinker with excellent ideas and budget management skills. You should also have experience in caring for others, enjoy sharing your sense of humor, and be enthusiastic about making a positive impact on people's lives.
