A primary school in Islington is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Support Assistant for a child with Autism.

Previous experience is required for this role, as the child you will be supporting has complex SEN needs.

The ideal candidate for this SEN Teaching Assistant - Complex Needs role would be a graduate searching for the perfect role to start their career in education, or an individual passionate about SEN who is looking to work alongside the best specialist staff and equipment such as Speech and Language Therapists, Hydrotherapists, Psychologists, and more.

This is a perfect role to provide valuable experience for aspiring Psychologists, SEN teachers, Therapists, Primary School Teachers, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for pupils across EYFS, KS1 & KS2 with SEN requirements.
  • Use your creativity and imagination to excite the pupils.
  • High quality and bespoke CPD will be provided.
  • Strong inclusion team to support you.

Requirements:

  • A passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for all pupils to flourish within.
  • Previous experience working with SEN children.
  • Creative and confident to use your innovation to create fun and exciting activities.
  • A passion for supporting those with Special Educational Needs.
