About the Role

We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Senior Support Professional. In this role, you will be working with children and young people with complex needs, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their personal best.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Providing individualized support and care to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  2. Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, young people, and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
  3. Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to create and implement personalized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for each child or young person.
  4. Participating in the recruitment, induction, and training of new staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and high-quality care.
  5. Contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and the organization's values and standards.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with children and young people with complex needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, young people, and their families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and achieving the best possible outcomes.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Children Act and the Care Act.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
