About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Customer Delivery Driver to join our team at Tesco. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive their shopping in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver customer shopping trips with a smile, ensuring that all products are delivered in good condition and that customers are satisfied with their experience.
  • Load and unload vans, ensuring that they are clean and tidy, and that all products are securely stored.
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, responding to their queries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve your skills and knowledge, ensuring that you are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • A valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence, with at least 12 months' experience and no more than 3 penalty points.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • A strong customer service focus, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and shifts.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use technology to support customer service and delivery operations.
