Senior Kitchen Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Chef to join our restaurant team in Livingston, United Kingdom. As a key member of our kitchen, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring excellent food presentation, and maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu, showcasing your culinary expertise and creativity.
- Ensure the presentation, taste, and portioning of food meet the restaurant's high standards, consistently delivering exceptional dining experiences.
- Monitor food inventory and assist with stock control, maintaining a well-organized and efficient kitchen environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service during busy periods, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
- Develop new menu ideas and seasonal dishes, staying up-to-date with culinary trends and incorporating fresh, seasonal ingredients.
- Adhere to food safety procedures and ensure compliance with food hygiene standards, maintaining a high level of quality and consistency in all dishes.
- Proven experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen environment, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality dishes and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen.
- Knowledge of a wide range of culinary techniques and cuisines, with a passion for innovation and creativity in the kitchen.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure, with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
- Food Hygiene certification (Level 2 or higher preferred), with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
