We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our Special Resource Provision as an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant. This role is perfect for a graduate who wants a long-term career supporting children or an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge.

School Details:

Our provision is a bridge between a mainstream secondary school and a special needs school, providing a supportive environment for students with varying needs, including Autism, Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.

Student Needs:

  • Social, Communication and Interaction delay/difficulties
  • Autism
  • Speech and Language delay
  • Sensory processing difficulties
  • Physical self-help difficulties (can require intimate care)
  • Cognition and learning delay
  • Global Delay
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs

Work Environment:

Our provision is mostly play-based, with students dipping into subject-specific curriculum as and when they are suitable based on their developmental ability. We are located in Newham, offering free parking on site, and surrounded by nature.

Job Spec:

We offer a competitive daily rate of £107.50 per day, with working hours from 08:30 to 16:00. ASAP start available. This role is perfectly suited for Psychology graduates or those interested in SEN, Mental Health and Psychology.
