Service Solutions Architect

Thales is a global leader in aerospace, transportation, defence, security, and space. We are seeking an ambitious and driven Service Solutions Architect to enable strategic and operational level design of services, leading interdisciplinary design teams in the design and deployment of innovative services in the defence, business, consumer, and public sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Own and deliver complex service solutions
- Look for value creation outside the company's boundaries and adopt the customer's perspective
- Lead as a service solution architect shaping opportunities with clients, capture leads, programme managers, and bid teams to create a winning solution that supports the value proposition
- Lead Thales service solutions in line with Chorus 2.0 PDCS while consulting and informing solution stakeholders throughout
- Produce compelling proposal documentation throughout the full sales lifecycle, owning Chorus 2.0 8.1 PDCS elements of the prospect
- Produce multiple-level service solution architecture and associated processes using proven tools and best practice design techniques that align to the customer's service requirements
- Collaborate with Systems, Network, and other Thales Solution Architects depending on the complexity of the solution to develop a robust service solution
- Draw on existing service lifecycle resources to contribute to the overall service solution, i.e., Lifecycle Modelling, ILS, Obsolescence Management
- Ensure best practice service transition is adhered to when testing and deploying products or systems into service delivery
- Produce holistic service management documentation that can be understood by service delivery teams for in-life support
- Ensure knowledge transfer of the service solution is in place from conception of the bid into service delivery
- Apply applicable aspects of governance and compliance in accordance with Thales Group/Thales UK policy and Chorus 2
- Ensure that the risks and opportunities associated with the solutions are identified, communicated, and, where practicable, mitigated
- Ensure that any assumptions and dependencies associated with the solutions are identified, recorded, and maintained
- Develop good working relationships with Customers, Partners, and Primes
- Service Design experience
- Customer requirement capture and value benefit realisation experience
- Technical background with an innovative approach
- Integrated Logistic/Product Support experience
- Good numerical skills
- Great interpersonal skills, confident in presenting
- Previous Technical Team leadership
