Job Summary:

The Gi Group is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operator to join our client, a leading distribution company in the industry. This is a temporary, on-going opportunity that requires a strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload containers from incoming vehicles and sort parcels to the correct dispatch location
  • Load onto outgoing transport and scan and identify parcel destination by code number or postcode
  • Place mail into the correct wheeled container for dispatch

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential
  • Ability to lift items up to 11KG in weight and push wheeled containers weighing up to 250kg
  • Must be able to provide 2 years referencing and undergo a DBS check

Working Environment:

The operations take place in a loud, busy factory-style environment where you will be standing for long periods of time. Our company is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
