This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team where you can make a meaningful impact on financial governance and reporting. As a Financial Reporting Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end project plan for statutory accounts, collaborating with key stakeholders, managing risk, and ensuring adherence to project milestones.

You will work closely with the Financial Reporting team to produce high-quality Annual Reports and Accounts. This includes developing and managing the project plan, creating essential governance documents, providing stakeholders with regular updates, and managing review comments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the project plan for statutory accounts, defining key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Create essential governance documents, including the Project Initiation Document (PID), risk register, and stakeholder analysis.
  • Provide stakeholders with regular updates on project progress and resolve any issues to keep milestones on track.
  • Partner with the Financial Reporting team to deliver the Annual Report & Accounts (ARA) to the required standards and timelines.
  • Manage review comments on the ARA, coordinating with section holders for efficient resolution.
  • Oversee the publication and dissemination of final signed documents, including website posting.
  • Coordinate additional governance supplements such as risk management sections.
  • Drive process improvements to streamline ARA and statutory accounts production.

Requirements:

  • Proven project management experience, with strong organisational skills.
  • A strategic mindset and exceptional project management and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships across teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
