Contract Scotland is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Engineer to join an established team in Fort William, working on a substation and overhead powerline project.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Site Preparation and Execution:
  • Conduct site surveys, setting out, and levelling.
Technical Guidance and Compliance:
  • Interpret engineering documentation for compliance and guide project execution.
  • Liaise with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
Coordination and Support:
  • Collaborate with the site manager and team for material forecasting and subcontractor management.
Monitoring and Documentation:
  • Inspect construction activities for adherence to quality and design standards.
Safety and Planning:
  • Prepare risk assessments, method statements, and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.

Our ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a proven site engineering background, particularly working on substation projects. Technical proficiency in surveying equipment, CAD, and engineering software is also essential.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, comprehensive benefits, including healthcare and pension, as well as opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning.
