We are seeking a highly skilled Client Accountant to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a Client Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, preparing accounts, and providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Prepare accounts, including financial statements and tax returns
- Provide exceptional client service, including responding to client queries and resolving issues
- Work closely with the accounts team to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Previous experience in a practice environment, handling accounts for a wide range of clients
- Strong IT and technical skills, including experience with accounts software, specifically Xero
- AAT qualified or qualified by experience (QBE)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
We offer a competitive salary between £30,000 and £36,000 dependent on experience, as well as flexible working options and hybrid and work from home options. You will also have access to a companywide benefits package, including holidays and pension contributions.
