A Specialist School in Salisbury seeks a recent Psychology or Criminology graduate to join their support team and work with students coping with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Collaborating with the class teacher and other experienced staff members, you will educate the pupils, manage challenging behaviours, and work one-to-one to ensure they are on task.
You will help identify potential triggers for the pupils regarding their trauma and mental health needs and facilitate various therapeutic techniques, employing restorative practices aimed at promoting mental well-being.

The ideal Psychology Graduate will be proactive and friendly, with a passion for mental health, and any previous experience working with children and/or adults with additional needs would be beneficial.
