We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Morning Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead East Dorset & Blandford. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional care and support to elderly individuals in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with their morning routines, including personal care tasks and daily activities.
  • Prepare nutritious breakfasts and ensure dietary requirements are met.
  • Provide medication reminders and support with daily tasks.
  • Offer companionship and engage in conversations, activities, and outings that enrich the client's life.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Accompany clients to appointments or on short outings if required.
  • Monitor and report changes in the client's health, wellbeing, and environment.

Requirements:

  • No previous experience required – we welcome new entrants to the care profession.
  • A warm, empathetic nature and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and their families.
  • Reliable and flexible approach to work.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to undergo DBS checks and provide references.
