Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Scrap Supply Planner to join our team at CELSA GROUP in Cardiff, UK. As a key member of our Scrap Purchasing department, you will be responsible for creating price forecasts and purchasing schedules for scrap metal.

With a strong background in spreadsheet management and attention to detail, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the correct blends of scrap are used in our production process to meet customer requirements.

About the Role

  • Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies to optimize scrap metal procurement.
  • Collaborate with Production, Scrap, and suppliers to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Analyze market trends and forecast price movements to inform purchasing decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in analyst roles, preferably with expertise in Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities and resolve problems in a fast-paced environment.
