Refugee Counselling Specialist

Clinical staff at WhereToTalk provide mental health support to refugees in Merton. We are seeking a skilled Counsellor (Refugee Service) to join our team, offering up to 16 sessions to individuals over 18 who live, work or study in the London Borough of Merton and define as a Refugee.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable populations and be able to hold a caseload of clients. The post holder may also provide assessments for the service and attend weekly meetings.
We envision that client sessions will be delivered predominantly face-to-face, with options to deliver sessions via video conference or telephone if needed.
This is a part-time role, approximately 22.5 hours per week. Estimated salary: £35,000 - £40,000 based on location and industry standards.
