Audiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist Hearing Aid Dispenser to join our team at Marriott Recruitment Ltd. As an Audiologist Hearing Aid Dispenser, you will be responsible for conducting thorough hearing assessments, providing expert advice on hearing solutions, and selecting, fitting, and dispensing hearing aids to patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Hearing Assessments: Conduct thorough hearing assessments to determine the nature and extent of patients' hearing loss.
- Hearing Solutions: Provide expert advice and guidance on hearing solutions, including hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other assistive listening devices.
- Hearing Aid Dispensing: Select, fit, and dispense appropriate hearing aids to patients, ensuring proper functionality and comfort.
- Follow-up Appointments: Conduct follow-up appointments to fine-tune hearing aids, make necessary adjustments, and address any concerns or issues.
- Counselling and Support: Offer counselling and support to patients and their families to help them adapt to their hearing aids and manage their hearing loss effectively.
- Patient Records: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessment results, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Professional Development: Stay up to date with advancements in audiology and hearing aid technology through continuing education and professional development.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as otolaryngologists and primary care physicians, to provide comprehensive hearing care services.
- Education: Minimum of a master's degree in Hearing Aid Audiology or a related field.
- Certification: Valid certification as an Audiologist/Hearing Aid Dispenser.
- Experience: At least 1-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Thorough knowledge of hearing assessment techniques, hearing aid technology, and assistive listening devices.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Equipment: Proficient in using audiometric equipment and software for hearing evaluations and programming hearing aids.
- Salary: £40,000 Basic Salary + Uncapped Commission & Bonus.
- Company Car: Company Car (Choice from Electric, Hybrid or Petrol/Diesel).
