Job Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct detailed diagnostic vascular ultrasound exams, providing accurate and reliable results. You will also be responsible for interpreting and reporting on these exams, as well as participating in research activities and clinical audits within the department.
A key aspect of this position is the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to ensure seamless patient care and treatment. Your expertise in vascular ultrasound and application will be invaluable in helping the trust deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key requirements for this role include a strong background in science and relevant post-graduate qualifications. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is also essential. Required Skills and Qualifications
- Science Degree (BSc level or higher)
- AVS (Full Accreditation with Society of Vascular Technology for Great Britain and Ireland) or HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientist
- MSc in Ultrasound-related subject
- Extensive ultrasound scanning experience
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Knowledge of developments in vascular ultrasound and vascular intervention
Salary Information
The salary for this role is £54,320 to £60,981 per annum, inclusive of inner London HCAS. We offer a competitive package, including a relocation fee of £5,000, to attract top talent in the field.
