Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialty Doctor to join our Emergency Department team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a Specialty Doctor, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our emergency medicine services.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in a full shift 24/7 rota, providing initial treatment and assessment of adult and paediatric patients presenting with illness or injury, and arranging for patients to be reviewed or admitted by medical staff from other specialties.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have full GMC registration, MB BS or recognised equivalent, and 48 months postgraduate experience including 12 months emergency medicine equivalent to UK practice or evidence of ST3 EM Competencies. You will also need to have provider status in ALS/ATLS/EPLS and be able to demonstrate a commitment to team approach and multi-disciplinary working.
