We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our Internal Audit team at Markel International Services Ltd. As a Senior Auditor, you will play a key role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes
- Identify and communicate risks and control weaknesses to management and stakeholders
- Develop and implement audit plans and procedures to ensure timely and accurate analysis of business processes and supporting technology
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Prepare and present audit reports and recommendations to management and stakeholders
- ACCA or equivalent qualification in Internal Audit or Risk Management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present to leadership
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and communicate risks and control weaknesses
- Experience in the insurance industry or financial services operations
- Excel skills including pivot tables and charts, vlookups, and macros or other data analysis tools
