About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Engineer Trainee to join our team at SLB. As a Maintenance Engineer Trainee, you will play a critical role in improving the efficiency and reliability of our equipment assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Improvement Plans: Identify opportunities to improve asset utilization, reliability, and overall performance. Develop and implement plans to address these opportunities, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement efforts, focusing on reducing asset turnaround time, improving quality, and increasing reliability.
  • Monitor and Analyze Performance Data: Utilize data analytics tools to monitor and analyze performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Participate in Failure Investigations: Collaborate with the Reliability and CoSD team to investigate equipment failures, identifying root causes and developing recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
  • Develop Business Cases: Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, developing business cases to support investment decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering (or a closely related field) from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a maintenance or reliability role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
