We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable English teacher to join our team at Academics. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving student attainment within the subject and a proven track record in delivering high-quality lessons up to KS4.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting realistic learning objectives for students
  • Applying relevant behavior management techniques when necessary
  • Ensuring students are suitably challenged based on individual needs
  • Ensuring students are aware of expectations related to specific exam boards
  • Setting tasks that maintain student engagement, both in class and with regards to homework

As a Newly Qualified English teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with a lovely supportive secondary school in Buckinghamshire. The school is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic teacher to join their teaching staff on a Long-term contract basis. A permanent position is available for the right candidate.

Requirements for this position include QTS or equivalent, a proven track record in delivering high-quality lessons up to KS4, and a passion for improving student attainment within the subject. The ideal candidate will be able to start asap, full time, and commit for the full academic year with potential for a permanent contract in September 2024.
