Position Summary:

This role involves managing multiple retail locations while providing visual merchandising support. The candidate will inspire and guide the visual team to craft attractive product displays, working closely with the retail team to enhance store profitability.

Visual Merchandising Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely execution of weekly visual merchandising tasks across designated stores.
  • Conduct regular store assessments to identify and rectify visual merchandising challenges.
  • Oversee proper store layouts and point-of-sale (POS) arrangements.
  • Leverage Oracle analytics for informed product placement strategies.

Training & Development Initiatives

  • Mentor and develop in-store personnel.
  • Collaborate with the In-Store Merchandiser to formulate growth-oriented training plans.
  • Facilitate training workshops for in-store teams and emerging talent.

Communication Duties

  • Maintain consistent communication with the Visual Support Manager and Area Sales Manager.
  • Provide weekly Store Visit Reports to management, highlighting actionable items.
  • Propose enhancements for JD Sports Fashion plc to the Visual Support Manager.

General Responsibilities

  • Exhibit professionalism and leadership qualities.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and responsible work practices.
  • Uphold hygiene and cleanliness standards in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Prior experience in visual merchandising is preferred.
  • Retail management experience is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Commercial awareness and insight.
  • Proficiency in IT, particularly with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, is beneficial.
  • A valid driver's license is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel for new store openings is essential.
