Job Description:

A rapidly growing property company in Stoke on Trent is seeking a skilled Client-Side Building Surveyor to enhance their team and contribute to their exciting property development projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the lifecycle of their property portfolio, from initial design through to completion and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct building surveys and inspections to assess property conditions and identify maintenance needs.
• Provide expert advice on building regulations, planning, and compliance issues.
• Oversee and manage refurbishment and development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Prepare detailed reports and specifications for works, including cost estimates and schedules.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project objectives are met.
• Monitor and manage ongoing property maintenance and improvement initiatives.
• Support the development of strategic plans for property investments and acquisitions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) accreditation preferred.
• Proven experience in building surveying, preferably on the client-side.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
