Job Title: Content and Communications Co-ordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Content and Communications Co-ordinator to join our Marketing & Communications team in Durham.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a busy and dynamic team, supporting the Marketing Manager and Communications Specialist in the execution and delivery of internal and external communications across all divisions of the business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content for various social media platforms, taking detailed notes and writing informative news updates for staff, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to arrange PR, photography, and media bookings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a content strategy to engage with staff and stakeholders
  • Creating high-quality content for social media, including videos, images, and written updates
  • Maintaining the Group's Internal Communications Platform, including managing content uploads via WordPress
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to arrange PR, photography, and media bookings
  • Assisting with the creation of short videos for social media platforms

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media and PR content creation, with excellent writing and filming skills. They will also be able to drive and be happy to travel across the North East and, on occasion, to Yorkshire.

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000, plus a car or car allowance of £5,500 per year, and a fuel card.
