Job Summary:

The role of a Graduate Insolvency Case Administrator within the Insolvency Department at Glu Recruit LTD involves providing support and assistance to Insolvency Practitioners and Case Administrators to ensure statutory responsibilities are fulfilled and the IP's duties to maximise realisations for the benefit of creditors are upheld.

The individual will work closely with Insolvency Practitioners, Managers, and other team members to ensure cases progress and close in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of statutory documentation relating to insolvency appointments, including the creation of necessary reports and documents.
  • Assisting in the preparation of statutory reports in line with insolvency legislation and best practice, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Liaising with external contacts to gather relevant information for report preparation, maintaining effective communication.
  • Communicating with creditors to address queries via various forms of communication, providing timely and accurate responses.
  • Assisting with Employee redundancy claims, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and procedures.
  • Logging of creditor claims, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely processing.
  • Assisting in the investigations of the conduct of directors of insolvent Companies, gathering and analysing relevant information.
  • Providing general administrative support and assistance, including data input and other tasks as required.
  • Attending site visits as necessary, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • The ideal candidate should be educated to Graduate level, with a degree in Business, Law, or Accounting. However, a degree in another subject will be considered if the candidate demonstrates aptitude for business.
  • The candidate should be proficient in computer skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft systems. They must be able to manage their own workload, meet time-critical deadlines, and demonstrate excellent organisational skills.
