We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Director to join our team in Gloucester. As HSE Director, you will provide strategic leadership, functional direction, and expert advice in all aspects of personal safety, health, and environment, ensuring legal compliance.

You will work closely with the site management team to establish a safe and healthy work environment, free from risk of accidents and unsafe working conditions and practices. This is an excellent opportunity to drive business success and contribute to the company's HSE culture.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, and you will also enjoy a range of benefits, including an early finish on Fridays and opportunities for career progression and training.

About the Job:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective HSE management systems, policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines aligned to Safran group requirements.
  • Lead the coordination, design, and delivery of the HSE cultural program for SLS Gloucester through proactive, specialized expertise, and timely training & development.
  • Create an impactful HSE communications strategy, encouraging personal ownership of HSE and driving day-to-day governance of compliance aligned to HSE standards.
