Fundraising Officer Role at Fighting With Pride

As a Fundraising Officer at Fighting With Pride (FWP), you will be responsible for seeking out and developing new fundraising opportunities, as well as maintaining current ones. This will involve writing bids, encouraging donations, and exploring revenue streams to enhance funds for the charity. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will work closely with FWP colleagues across the UK to achieve this goal. About the Role

Fighting With Pride is a registered charity formed in January 2020 to support LGBTQ+ Veterans, serving personnel, and their families. The charity aims to enhance the lives of these individuals, particularly those affected by the 'gay ban'. As a Fundraising Officer, you will play a crucial role in helping the charity achieve its goals.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, project management skills, and LGBTQ+ community/armed forces awareness. They will be responsible for:

  • Seeking out and developing new fundraising opportunities
  • Maintaining current fundraising opportunities
  • Writing bids and proposals to secure funding
  • Encouraging donations and exploring revenue streams
  • Working closely with FWP colleagues across the UK
