CAD Technician Vacancy in Sheffield

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Technician to join our client's team in Sheffield.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in using AutoCAD and working within an engineering consultancy on multidisciplinary functions such as civil and structural engineering.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Working on various projects, including General Arrangements/Structural Layouts and Details in Steel, Concrete, Timber, and Domestic, and RC Detailing on medium to large structures.
  • Supporting external works and plot drainage for residential sites and structures of various use.
  • Developing drawings/plans for clients as part of a wider team alongside architects and engineers.
  • Mentoring Trainee Technicians.

Salary Range: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Experience working within an engineering consultancy.
