Electrical Project Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Project Engineer to join our team at Advance TRS. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting project engineering and project management tasks under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project engineering and project management tasks, including electrical installation design using Autodesk 2D.
  • Participate in the preparation of electrical design schedules, including load, instrument, and drive information.
  • Learn to work with AMTECH cable models and develop software user requirement specifications (URS).
  • Support in carrying out risk assessments and assist with subcontractor procurement and monitoring their performance.
  • Help ensure quality assurance of subcontractor design deliverables.

About You:

  • You will have some experience or understanding of industrial process engineering, manufacturing, or mechanical systems, although this is not essential.
  • A qualification in engineering, such as ONC, HNC, HND, or NVQ3 in a related field, is desirable.
  • You will be willing to learn and grow into a more customer-facing and project management role.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and design processes is beneficial, but training will be provided.
