About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team in the Waveney Area. As a key member of our Domestic Abuse Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized safety and support plans for our customers, working closely with them to identify and achieve their goals.
  • Provide emotional support and advocacy to our customers, empowering them to make informed decisions about their lives.
  • Collaborate with other support agencies to ensure a holistic approach to supporting our customers, addressing their physical, emotional, and practical needs.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks, ensuring the safety of our customers, colleagues, and buildings.
  • Engage with our customers and wider stakeholders to promote the service and build strong relationships, fostering a sense of community and connection.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience working with vulnerable adults, particularly women experiencing domestic abuse.
  • Strong advocacy and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with our customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and good practice, with a commitment to upholding the principles of empowerment and equality.
