About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled individual to join our PLC board as Chairperson. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of AFC Wimbledon.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the PLC board
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Dons Trust and the AFC Wimbledon community
  • Ensure effective governance and decision-making processes are in place
  • Support the development of the club's strategic objectives and plans
Requirements
  • Significant leadership experience in high-performance environments
  • Experience of mentoring and supporting senior leadership
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Time Commitment

This is a part-time role, requiring one day per week, including monthly board meetings. You will also be required to participate in a minimum of six evening meetings per year and make regular appearances at home games.
