About the Opportunity:

We are partnering with a well-regarded secondary school in Greenwich, committed to providing a high-quality education and fostering a passion for learning. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to design and deliver engaging and rigorous Drama lessons, creating a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student curiosity and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver Drama lessons aligned with the national curriculum and schools educational goals.
  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes student engagement and collaboration.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with current pedagogical approaches and developments in the field of Drama.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Drama or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Drama at the secondary level.

Remuneration:

A competitive salary, around £40,000 - £65,000 per annum, aligned with the Upper Pay Scale (UPS), plus comprehensive benefits package including pension contributions and opportunities for professional development.
