Job Title: Children's Social Work Team Lead
About the Role:
As a Children's Social Work Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading the Contract & Quality function in relation to commissioned services for children's SEND, children's social care & public health services. This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team of 7 contract managers and officers regarding contract management of commissioned services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Contract & Quality function in relation to commissioned services for children's SEND, children's social care & public health services.
- Provide management to a team of 7 contract managers and officers regarding contract management of commissioned services, including identifying financial, commercial, and reputational risks to the council and its partners.
- Lead the response in relation to performance, quality, and value for money of over £140m of commissioned activity per annum.
Requirements:
- DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work.
- Social Work England registration.
- Enhanced and in-date DBS certificate.
- Flexible approach to work and working hours when needed.
