Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Container Driver to join our team in Walsall. As a Class 1 Container Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating an HGV Class 1 vehicle to deliver containers to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely Operate HGV Class 1 Vehicle: Ensure the safe operation of the HGV Class 1 vehicle, adhering to all safety protocols and driving regulations.
  • Deliver Containers: Deliver containers to various locations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of service.
  • Complete Delivery Paperwork: Complete all necessary delivery paperwork and logbooks accurately.
  • Perform Vehicle Checks: Perform routine vehicle checks to ensure the truck is roadworthy and report any issues.

Requirements:

  • Valid HGV Class 1 License: Hold a valid HGV Class 1 license with relevant driving experience.
  • Driving Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years of experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
  • Strong Understanding of Road Safety: Have a strong understanding of road safety and transport regulations.
  • Experience with Cold Storage Deliveries: Have experience with cold storage deliveries, preferably.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
