About the Role

This Accounting Support Professional position requires an individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to provide high-quality financial support to the Education & Inclusion service at Westmorland and Furness Council.

Your primary responsibilities will be to consult with managers on their financial needs, develop proposals to improve financial performance, and maintain accurate accounting records. You will also prepare financial statements, grant claims, and other reports within required deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have strong numerical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. In return, you can expect:
