We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Castleholme Lodge, a 20-bed care home providing mental health services for adults with severe and enduring mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities- Support Occupational Therapists in delivering structured activities and assisting in the planning for individual and group therapeutic interventions.
- Build one-to-one relationships with service users to encourage participation in activities and empower recovery.
- Contribute to the assessment, monitoring, evaluation, and modification of structured activities to measure progression and ensure effectiveness.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support to patients and their carers.
- GCSE/O-Levels (A-C) or a relevant NVQ2
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deal sensitively with distress, disturbance, and unpredictability
- Flexibility and availability to work across shifts
- Good basic understanding of mental health issues
- Annual salary of £23,692.50
