Risk Management and Compliance Specialist Role in Milton Keynes

Renewi is seeking a talented Risk Management and Compliance Specialist to join our team in Milton Keynes. As a leading waste-to-product company, we operate within the circular economy framework and require an individual who can ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards across the municipal division.

The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing data to identify trends and business risks, collaborating with line managers to effectively manage SHEQ risks, and enhancing SHEQ awareness to drive continuous improvement and cultural change.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing system data trends to identify issues and patterns
  • Preparing and presenting data/reports weekly for SHEQ meetings
  • Coordinating SHEQ training sessions and induction
  • Liaising with external insurers and internal key stakeholders on potential claims
  • Sharing best practices and necessary improvements across sites to promote continuous improvement
  • Supporting auditing processes by conducting checks to ensure that manager and employees utilise the correct systems, processes and forms
  • Updating policies with team support, ensuring final approval from the Senior SHEQ Manager

This role requires a valid driving license and a salary of approximately £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

We are looking for an individual with a proven track record in a similar role, advanced Microsoft office skills, and experience in supporting the development and implementation of data analytics.
