Pricing and Funded Reinsurance Manager Role

Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC) is seeking a talented Pricing and Funded Reinsurance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Origination department, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing pricing assumptions and funded reinsurance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the implementation of pricing assumptions and strategies, providing market and technical expertise to support cross-departmental projects.
  • Support the Head of Pricing and Funded Reinsurance in leading the development of PIC's Pricing and Funded Reinsurance strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Origination team and other key functions to secure buy-in and implement improvements to systems, processes, and technology.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Actuary with experience in developing pricing assumptions and delivering new structural partnerships.
  • Strong technical knowledge of defined benefit pensions and reinsurance markets, including data and mortality analysis, reinsurance pricing, and collateral arrangements.
  • Deep understanding of longevity risk and regulatory requirements, such as Solvency II and Solvency UK.
