Job Title: Physiotherapist - Orthopaedic Therapy Team

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Physiotherapist to join our Orthopaedic Therapy Team, working on elective and trauma orthopaedic rehabilitation. The successful candidate will be a key role across a seven day service, providing high-quality care to in-patients, community outreach and outpatients.

The Physiotherapist will have the autonomy to implement and evaluate therapy interventions in accordance with best practice, ensuring seamless continuity of treatment. They will also liaise with hospital/community based staff to provide equipment/adaptations facilitating hospital discharge/prevent re-admission and support resettlement/re-enablement into the community.

About the Role
  • Implement and evaluate therapy interventions in accordance with best practice.
  • Liaise with hospital/community based staff to ensure continuity of treatment and provision of equipment/adaptations.
  • Participate in the respiratory on-call service.

Person Specification

We are looking for a highly motivated Physiotherapist with:

Degree in Physiotherapy and current HCPC registration.Excellent communication skills, ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.Awareness of up to date NHS issues, Clinical Governance and its application with therapy.Ability to manage change in a flexible, diplomatic and positive manner.

The estimated salary for this role is £35,845 - £46,840 per annum, depending on experience.
