Job Title: Part-Time Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at University Partnerships Programme. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our student accommodation, ensuring a comfortable and healthy living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces
  • Empty waste bins and remove rubbish from flats to bin store areas
  • Perform daily liaison with residents, Residence Managers, and associated UPP staff
  • Act in accordance with all Health & Safety policies and practices at all times
  • Assist with summer season tasks, including making beds, collecting laundered linen, and packing laundry for collection
  • Clean internal and external windows, as applicable
  • Clean and wash glasses, cutlery, and cooking utensils, as necessary
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in cleaning in a similar environment
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Good conversational standard of English language and ability to read and interpret Health & Safety guidance
  • Ability to work at other sites if required and additional hours when needed
