Craftsman Painter

We are seeking an experienced Craftsman Painter to join our team in Wroxham, Norfolk.

This is a full-time, permanent position that involves preparing and finishing timber and GRP components for various marine and luxury yacht projects.

• Preparing surfaces for finishing by filling, masking, and sanding timber and GRP using orbital sanders and various grit wet or dry paper.
• French Polishing and repairing finished cabins and boat furniture.
• Applying finishes to solid and veneered timber products using water-based lacquers, paints, and hard wax oils.
• Spraying paint systems on timber and GRP as required.

• Good working knowledge of painting and varnishing procedures.
• Experience working with wood, including repairs.
• Ability to work in a team on large-scale projects while also working independently on smaller tasks.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet quality control inspections.
• Experience spraying paint/varnish on cabinetry, kitchens, bathrooms, and furniture (ideally 5+ years).
• Wide experience in French Polishing techniques.
• Marine experience desirable but not essential.

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
