Company & Project:

Apple Technical Recruitment is working in close partnership with a successful and profitable medium-sized Main Contractor who are currently looking to expand their Commercial team with a skilled Quantity Surveyor/Estimator. The business has a track record of delivering projects between c£1m-£8m in value across multiple sectors - Commercial, Residential, Education, Leisure, and Heritage. The business has a strong pipeline of projects for the remainder of 2024 and 2025.

The company has an established senior management team who are all hands-on in the delivery of projects and mentoring/developing the career and experience of their teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for quantity surveying functions on projects, from procurement of subcontractors, measurement & valuations, through to processing monthly applications for payment, handling claims, and variations. In addition, the professional will also be involved in Estimating duties and working with the pre-construction team in the early stages of projects.

  • Experience working on projects c£1m+ in value would be advantageous.
  • Candidates from both a Main Contractor and Sub-contractor background to be considered.
Qualifications & Skills:

Degree or MSc in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or HNC/HND or a comparable qualification.
